About DMV Cars & Coffee

Who's behind this
Hi — I'm Franck. I'm a car enthusiast based in Montgomery County, MD, and I've been part of this community for more than 8 years. Like a lot of you, my weekends revolve around coffee, engines, and the handful of people who show up no matter the weather.
I built this calendar because I was tired of hopping between Instagram stories, group chats, and flyers pinned to bulletin boards just to figure out what was happening on Saturday morning. There was no single place to see everything the DMV car scene was putting on — so I made one.
Why it exists
The goal is simple: make it easier to find the good stuff. Cars & coffee meets. Car shows. Track days. Cruises. Big, small, free, ticketed — if it's organized and welcoming, it belongs on the calendar.
This site doesn't list street takeovers, sideshows, or unauthorized pop-ups. It's built for the people quietly doing the work of keeping this community going — the hosts, the venue owners, the organizers who show up early and leave late. If you run something like that and it isn't on here yet, submit it — I'll get it up.
What's next
I'm going to keep developing and supporting this site for as long as it's useful to the community. New features, better filters, regional pages, maybe a newsletter if there's appetite for one. If there's something you wish the site did — tell me. Most of what's on here started as someone asking.
How you can help
This is a solo, unpaid project. If you want to help it stick around, here are three ways — in order of how much I actually need them:
- 1.Submit events you know about. The calendar lives or dies on coverage. Add one here.
- 2.Tell me what's broken or missing.Wrong info, confusing UI, a feature you wish existed — the form below goes straight to me.
- 3.Buy me a coffee.Optional, and it fits the theme. Helps cover the domain, hosting, and the occasional real coffee while I'm building.Buy me a coffee
